Titanic Coal Ship Shape Keychain

I would never, in my right mind, buy a keychain that's over $10. But, I made an exception for this one. When I found out you could buy a piece of coal that was once on the Titanic, I was either very skeptical or thought there would be NO way I could afford it, so I never looked into getting a piece. After stumbling upon this sight, however, my ears perked up. I love this little token from the vessel. Some people say it's wrong to harvest things from the wreck sight, but this coal was brought up for means to fund future trips down to the wreck. I find it comforting to know parts of this deteriorating ship will be forever preserved, and by having this little piece that once lay deep in Titanic's bowls I feel more connected to her. It's a small charm, about an inch and a half long, but to me it's perfect. If you wanted to wear it as a necklace, it would be very easy to do.

I got this for a friend of my sons. When he first opened it, I saw the look of disappointment in his face. THEN I told hi what it was!! He loves it!!

My son and I love the stories and history of the Titanic. He's 32 now but when he was really young and the movie came out he bought me a beautiful heart of the ocean necklace. I still have it. He loves the authentic coal in case I gave him for Christmas. It was hard for him to believe it really came from the Titanic in the bottom of the ocean. I know he'll treasure it!!

Nicely made product. Key chain consists of a clear resin four funneled liner with a piece of titanic coal embedded in it. Resin is crystal clear and key chain is very sturdy. Makes a great gift as I gave one to my mother and my sister to remember me by. In addition a certificate of authenticity accompanies each key chain!

Nice piece. It’s what’s described , if you are an empath or sensitive to energy’s like myself you may pick up on some of the energies with this piece which are sad of course but it is definitely a piece of history.

I love that this is resin so I know this little piece of history is safe and won't shatter. It's a magical thing to know that I have an authentic piece of a history I hold so near and dear to my heart. The resin is clear, Coal is visible and the chain is sturdy.
